First of all, I don't recomend being alone & stoned, its not fun! Nore do I recomend traveling on your own. Let alone mixing the two, it might not be such a good idea!

Lately a lot of folks have been traveling outside there cities or states to go some where they could consume cannabis with out prejudice. Although the marijuana shops are very welcoming to new customers as long as they have proper id. Their cities and states might not be! Even though there is a tremendous about of scientific research out there, some even date back as far as the late 1960s. There's still a vast amount of cities and states with a stigma toward cannabis consumers. Making it a risky adventure just trying to burn a couple bowls out side of your city or state.

So here are 5 tips that might help:

Plan Ahead - When I say plan ahead I don't mean you have to have a restricted time or a detailed plan. Just have a rough idea of what you plan to do. Trust me this will help imporve the over all trip. This tips allows you to hit the spots intended making the trip seem more fulfilling as well as make it a safer one. Having your day mapped out is always a good idea.

All The Essentials - Make sure to go over all the essentials and make a list before heading out on your journey. This means more then just having your money, ID and cellphone. Don't get me wrong those are the top three on everyones list but having your contacnts writen down is highly recommended. Besides the obvious three we all ready mentioned your list shoud consist of a refillable bottle with water in it, a portable charger with charging wire, a map just in case you can't receive service, a multi-tool, some snacks for the jouerny and if you have an illnesses that require you to take any form of medication should not only pack their medicine but a descripion with instrutions on what and how to administer the medicine, last but not least a comfortable backpack to carry these items.

Research Before Visiting - Do a little research get the proper information like the laws in that state or city you are visiting, the times of operation for the places you plan to visit as well as their rules and contacts info. This tip falls in with the first one i mentioned planing ahead. There are variety of social media sites that can connet you with like minded people or companies prior to your trip.

Know Your Limits - Knowing how much you can consume you would think is simple, but most seem to forget that factor when going out town. You must also keep in mind that there are higher strenght now then ever before especially between the different forms of comsuption. So make sure to ask questions and follow the directions of consumption on the label. It is highly recommended that you start off slow.

Nothing Goes Home - You shouldn't take anything across state lines. Most folks don't know it is illeagl to purchase tobacco, alcohol (including beer) in other state with the intention of exporting it into another for consumption or resale without a proper licensing. Cannabis falls into that same type of ordeal being as though, if it were completely legalized it would be regulated the same as tobacco and alcohol.

There are a few others, like buying off a street dealer is a no! no! You don't want to end up in jail out of state. Its not fun! Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking any bodies hustle but there are a lot of under covers in those states looking for out of towners doing the wrong things to prove that legalization is bad. So don't do anything you wouldn't do in your home town. It's also a good idea to let someone know you're going out of town.

If you can think of anymore, which I'm sure there are. Leave it in the comments and if you liked the article let me know what to write about next. I'll be posting new articles every Wednesday and Friday.

Consume Responsibly,

David Anthony
